How To Find Shopify Stores Selling A Specific Product

Shopify has no public directory of stores. Here are the methods that actually work for finding every store selling the product you are researching.

There is no public list of Shopify stores and no search box that finds them by product. Most "Shopify store finder" lists are years out of date or just a handful of big brands. To find the stores selling a specific product today, you have to go looking — here is how.

Method 1: search the way buyers do

Search the product's plain description plus buying words: "pet nail grinder" free shipping or buy pet nail grinder. Buying words pull up store product pages and push review blogs and magazines down. Then go past page one — the small independent stores usually sit on pages two and three, below the big retailers.

Method 2: search by the product photo

Dropshippers often use the same supplier photos. A reverse image search on the product image (Google Lens in Chrome or the Google app) can surface stores that name the product something completely different. Crop to the product first, and try more than one photo.

Method 3: search Shopify's own domain

Many stores still run on their original address. Searching site:myshopify.com "product name" finds some of them. It misses every store using its own domain, so treat it as a bonus, not the method.

Method 4: start from the ads, not the stores

Search the product keyword in the Facebook Ad Library with the country set to "All". The advertisers that come up are, by definition, stores actively spending money on that product — the ones you most need to know about.

Filter what you find

Doing it faster: paste your product link into AdDoctor and it finds the stores selling the same product, filters out the giants and the look-alikes, and shows which ones are running Facebook ads right now.

Stop guessing which second kills your ad.

AdDoctor connects to your Meta ad account and shows you exactly where viewers scroll away — and which competitor stores are running ads in your niche right now.
